Details
This photo gives little to read the floor's angle from. The rug may not lie flat. A photo that shows part of a wall where it meets the floor works better, or line the floor up by hand.
A second estimate of the floor's angle is ready. It would change the floor under your rug; your rug keeps its place and size.
Preparing your room
Your photo stays on this device.
How far is it from 1 to 2? Put 1 and 2 on two floor points whose real distance you know, then enter it.
Tap the photo to move the nearest dot, or drag a dot. Both dots must be on the floor, not on a seat or a table top.
Internal test session
One photo and one floor. Switching changes only the rug's size and picture; the floor, the scale, the centre and the angle stay. Products from two stores, each named; test references are not products.
Internal size check
The reference is a plain 200 x 300 cm rectangle for testing, not a product. Both sit on the same floor, centre and angle; switching does not move anything or change the measurement.
Floor and furniture
Restore floor paints floor the detector missed. Protect furniture paints legs, tables or anything that should stay in front of the rug. Zoom in on the picture for thin legs.
Drag the four green dots so the dashed shape is a rectangle lying flat on the floor: two edges running away from you and two across. Floorboards or the line where the wall meets the floor are the easiest things to follow.
The grid shows the proposed floor direction. Match it to straight floor seams, not the outline of furniture or the visible floor. Use Align perspective to try the room's upright edges. Review the result before finishing; this is an estimate, not a room measurement.
